Can I point out that this is not a scam !

I'll be appearing in the Daily Record, if you are in Scotland, in the next 2 weeks as part of their coverage of the 10k run. I'm just back from having photos taken for the article.

Losing 6 stone in a year means an average deficit of 800 kilocalories per day. That's tough, but achievable. It will take dedication and a lot of willpower - I wish you well. I hope you like clothes shopping... :)

But I've not been eating at sensible times or healthily, often not having a breakfast. I've also not been exercising so by changing all of those is making a real change. I've lost 7lbs in the last 2 weeks as well as having stopped smoking. I'm feeling great and can feel the improvements already with the walking I'm doing in the mornings.

I'm treating this as a way of changing lots of things in my life. Clean Lungs, decent weight and fit.

Although everyone says I'm not fat I decided that I would try to get to fifteen stone by April. I am quite well built and used to play rugby so my ideal weight is about 15stone, I was 16.5 after xmas.
In 3 weeks of running and going to the gym I have lost over 18 pounds so I am well pleased but today I have given up smoking so I have to keep up the excersise as I will eat a lot more now.

Nice one Marcos. I'm dreaming of getting to that weight.

I hate the gym but loving running and badminton.

    Well done !

    This is like confession time.

I reached 15 st 2lbs in mid December - the heaviest I've ever been (I'm only 5'8") so I joined a gym, go 5 times a week and have started to eat a little more sensibly and I'm down by 6lbs already. Target is 12st 7lbs.

It's not what you eat, or when - it's how much!
