Just to say that I'm very pleased with my favourite car, the 1990 190E 2.5-16 manual.

It's been very good to me, fantastic fun to drive and has been a joy to own. Owned it for about 2 years now.

I think I will treat it this year to some special maintenance, it deserves it :bannana:

I can see a long and pleasant future together :o

Who else is pleased with their cars?

Me too with the 'riskier' W163 04 ML350. I travelled in the back of it the other day when my lady was driving us. I loved it. Lovely luxurious leather, dashboard all lit up with the star twinkling on the wheel...and sounds lovely. Most chuffed I am.

Me!!

mine is going to get new shocks, dampers, discs, pads, tyres this year.

she is about to have a wing and some paintwork done.

I love this car and i think she's a beauty - will be showing her off with pride at the summer GTG (dont rain, dont rain, dont rain!)

She will also be getting a new steering damper and the other bit in front of it towards front of engine bay (yes; i thought that was a highly technical description too!)

I must admit I've grown rather fond of my big old barge - 1994 E280 Estate. It was an eBay chancer - bought for just over a grand, with a short MOT, but repaid my confidence about a fortnight later by passing the MOT without anything required.

Since then, it's proven invaluable for all sorts of duties, including ferrying son to and fro between home and unit, with mountain bike, bass guitar and amp and a roomful of other stuff - all in comfort and without fuss. Still has a useful turn of speed too. Shortly to repay the favour with a service and sorting out a clunk from the rear suspension. But hey - she's only done 180,000 miles, so no complaints.

Me too. Happy chappy with my CLK Cabrio although despite my earlier insistance on driving "top down" I now find I have to give way to the weather a bit. Rear view out the cabrio window isnt fab and I dont think it looks that great from the rear with the roof up either. Roll on the dry weather!! :)

I love my SL, sadly the rain stops play so I have not been out in it since before Christmas.

I am still thinking of that 500SEC

PMSL sorry Matt

All I have seen Will's car, its a lovely car, very well maintained and a fine example.

Keep it up Will. :)

I loved my last Mercedes.....I wish I still had it sometimes.....

Oh well, on the lookout for another....:D

I'm very pleased with my s-class. :) It so easy to forget how good these cars really are. But then I end up on a business trip abroad driving something else and it reminds me again :D.

Hello

Have to say I'm please with our Bus (ML) as our little one is now here its great.

Its already shifted doors, coving and all Manor of B&Q stuff and able to fit us all in...one behind each other (actually using one of the rear seats)

Its Been great on our summer holiday to europe swallowed all the stuff we needed, very comfortable cruising at 85 mile after mile

Towing our Caravan on trips to the lakes you would hardly know its there, only the fuel goes down quicker than normal....even.

So in a year its earned its keep :)

Think I will keep it a bit, which for me is good, the past two cars lasted a year each :)

Well, I probably shouldn't say this on an MB forum, but I'm quite pleased with the Golf. It's only a stopgap, but it's not a bad place to sit.

Coming from a C43, obviously it's a bit light on horsepower (about 1/2 of what I had previously, to be precise :o) but it's nippy enough to keep up with the traffic, it has leather and auto and aircon and all the good stuff.. I miss the V8 soundtrack from the AMG, but the V5 is quite mellifluous in its own right.

And I didn't pay a lot for it, so forget depreciation.. I just hope the wheels don't fall off any time soon!

Cheers,

Gaz

I would say that overall the ML 320CDI is the best car I have owned.
Fairly quick, comfortable, loads of load space and snow and floods mean nothing to me anymore.

Tomorrow no doubt I'll get stuck in a massive snowstorm and then get washed away in the melting torrents:o
