Polish then wax or wax then polish?

What would you normally have to pay a detailer to do ALL the above steps? It sure looks like a lot of elbow grease!

MY son had a 'ceramic' coat done for £100-00. Done in his drive and garage.....only 6 month guarantee. The same guy comes to his office to wash his car for about £30-00 (not sure what sort of job he does in an office carpark). I've seen prices from about £30-00 and upwards.

Full detail from an insured pro will be anywhere between £500 and a couple of grand.

As with anything else, you get what you pay for, a bottle of ceramic coating can be £50-£150 for the good stuff

Gtechniq C1 would be a good starter coating. However you are effectively locking in what ever finish the car's paint has which is why myself and many other detailer's will only apply a coating to a machine polished surface with minimal defects.
