Hi, What is the schedule for a mercedes poly v belt.
A guy on the other side has a Vito 115 and one snapped at 325000 Kilometres,
No surprise there, but it has full history.
Any Idea at what milage or age it should be changed at?

Rule of thumb is if you see cracks in the ribs.
Inexpensive to buy and simple to fit. If unsure just fit 1 to be on the safe side

324,999km, I reckon.

Found this.

For optimum protection, most experts recommend replacing V-belts every three to four years, or every 36,000 to 48,000 miles. A recommended replacement interval for serpentine belts would be every four or five years, or 50,000 miles.

In that case it should have had 4 belts!

I check my serpentine belts pretty-regularly and change them when I see cracks in thev ribs.
I do about 20,000 miles a year.
They have lasted in excess of 50,000 miles on the three E-class cars we have had.
