I have been involved in a discussion on the www.autopia.org forum and it seems the chaps in the USA have discovered that Polycharger (CH2) wax additive and Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine are a "killer combination".

So here I am importing car wax from the USA and they are importing car wax from the U.K.

I tested Polycharger last weekend and I am impressed. See http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=36494 for details.

What is great about this is that it is that Ultra Deep Shine is a single step product and is readily available in the UK. No need to use lots of products. So rather than messing around doing what I did you could save even more time :D .

This is an extract from a thread on using Ultra Deep Shine with Polycharger. As David B the Car care king in the USA puts it:

"The first coat I applied with the SwirlBuster pad (with Porter Cable) to remove swirls and oxidation. The second coat I applied with the SFX-2 (white) pad (with Porter Cable) to bring up full gloss. The resulting finish is still looking great (next door neighbor's Z4) and beading water like a duck after a few months."

Two coats with the Porter Cable would take less than 1 hour. So a wash, clay and polycharged Autoglym finish can be done in less than half a day leaving your car looking great for months.

I have found polycharger for £25 in the U.K. from:

This will do more wax than you could possibly use on your own car so share it with the neighbours or MBClub friends.;)

But don't forget with the £ / $ exchange rate being so good you can also use my favorite Autopia Care Care

Also check out this thread, a fantastic set of photos showing the effect you can get by detailing the car. It takes you through washing polishing etc It even has masked off sections to show the contrast. Polycharged Klasse/Carlack was used there are photos of the mixing process.
