Afternoon chaps,

I have a pond that has a few leaks in the butyl rubber liner caused by bamboo roots.

The roots have been eliminated, but I need to patch the holes.

I've lots of liner to hand, but was wondering what the best adhesive is for sticking the rubber. I'd thought of cycle puncture repair kits but the patches are a bit on the small side.

Many thanks

If you speak to your local pond type place, they will normally stock some adhesive - my guy's is called "really sticky black stuff" or similar.
Comes in a cartridge that you chuck in a frame (silicon) gun, can be used underwater!

Trapper has vision of Palfrem in full scuba gear circling his pond "goop gun" in hand zapping punctured spots.

is this what goes on "Up North" on those cold dark days and nights then?

Yes, we are just looking forward to our 1 day of summer and then we can get on with winter again.

But with it being Wimbledon and Cricket seasons we may not see our stipend of a summer now.

I had a wonderful weeks holiday in Wharfedale last year. It only rained twice - once for three days and once for four.
