Poor handling

Going into a roundabout or negotiating a bend the car seems to lean more than usual. I dont know what the right term is but it feels like it will almost tip over especially when at speed

how do i determine whether its shocks or something else. How can i test the shock absorbers. Could it be anything else

If it's shocks that require replacing, when you push down on any corner of your car body it will spring back up and down a couple of times before it settles.

Try this on all 4 corners to see which one may be at fault.

Springs usually fracture and break rather than deteriorate over time, have a look at them in the wheel arches and compare left to right to check for any issues, you could check for oil loss from the shocks at the same time.

This would be a visual check on the condition of them.

If it hasn't had springs and dampers fitted yet do them all, they will be U/s on a car of this age.
