Thermostat was £34 and the gasket was £3. Cheaper than euro car parts before discount.

My C250cdi sits at 85? Should it be 90?

Mine sits at 90 and I've been impressed with the mpg returns. The time taken to reach this temp varies considerably with the seasons and short winter trips are noticibly more thirsty than in summer.

Mine sat at around 80 and saw 35-42mpg, new one means it now sits just above 90ºc and sees 46 average, high 50s on a run.
