Possible puchase?

Alright I know it isn't a MB but I've got your attention now,

With the change of job, :bannana: I will be needing another set of wheels for the venerable Mrs O'Phile, I get the 300E, but she wants something small and practical (and auto).

When I showed her examples of the small practical autos, like the Suzuki Baleno, she changed her mind and preferred the possibility of another Merc, thinking of a C180 here, or this

which she has already bought in her mind. We're going to view tomorrow but would like a few pointers on what to look for.

Also, as I think it is an import (weren't they all at that time) how does that affect insurance?

I wasn't considering it at the listed price, I thought around £800, if it's as good as he says.

Insurance quotes are quite a bit higher than the 300E. Probably because its an import?

definately not worth that money, more like 500-600 quid. And if its an import or LHD then insurance will cost more, plus your wife is a woman (right?)

Oh she's that alright. Afraid it's my previous form (though now a clean licence) thats hiking the insurance.
