Lots of - no all - owners of C32 AMG complain of the noticeable and sometimes harsh lock-up of the torque converter.

It comes as standard with every C32 AMG!! :D

Anyone know if it's possible to change the point at which lock-up occurs, either with STAR or something else?

I would imagine thats controlled by the ECU, you can buy custom torque converters with different stall speeds from lots of companies, big business in the states.

It's not the stall speed that's the issue, it's the transition point of the lock-up clutch. It's supposed to be proportional so shouldn't really be felt much adn I wonder if the feeling isn't the lock-up clutch at all but merely hte torque converter transmitting torque to the gearbox as more torque is fed from the engine.

One test would be to have the clutch disabled using STAR and drive the car. if it still does it it isn't the clutch.
