Possible Viano owner who'd like to change seat configuration

Hi there, I'm looking to buy a 2nd hand Viano and just reading everything and anything I can to be informed before I go out to look or test drive. Seems the ones I might be able to afford don't have the seating layour I'd like, so, please tell me, if I remove a mid bench of 3 seats, will the exisitng rails let me put in any captains seats I may see on ebay or are there certain fittings for certain models? Thanks!

So do you have one row of seats, is it a 2+1 bench seat?? And do the rails look like these? It almost sounds like a dualiner tbh

I dont own it yet so can't take it to bits, but yes, a 2+1 bench. Are these the rails attached to the seats that you are showing me not the rails i the floor?

Yes.
If the Viano comes with 2x bench seat set up the rails will take captain seats in any style you want to fit them, but the rails wont accommodate the table.
This type of Viano has been most likely to have been a taxi with disguised mileage.

The Viano with 4 captain seats should have the wider inner rails to take the table. I've read there are 2 types of table fitment though, and many Vianos seem to be missing the table it may have come with.
4 captain seats means less likely to have been a taxi, but still check mot history carefully.

The 3.0 litre V6 guzzles juice.
Rear sub frame rust is common, crawl under with a torch.

We know this van's history and it has been a private limo, thanks! I have seen another post on here showing how to change the rails for adding a table and i may try it! What I'm looking at is a 2.2CDI so no 3.0litre V6 Guzzling
