Hello Men,
I`ve just given the old bus (300td) a well deserved refit, and have acquired a front o/s clonk.

The refit consisted of changing oil/filter, ATF/filter, diff oil, glowplugs; and perhaps more relevent, front lower susp. bushes, antirollbar bushes and drop links.

Just been road testing; the car starts, goes like sh** off a shofell, but over rough tarmac, I am hearing a clonking.

I`ve checked all nuts tight and given the bottom susp. a vigorous working with a crow bar,and all`s quiet. I`ve also checked for tools left in the engine bay.

I had disconnected the shocker at the bottom end, and the rubber bushes there seemed fine.

Any ideas, or am I going to have to live with it until it manifests itself? :(

Thanks 312 Sprinter, but no. New drops and new screws ; and they`re tight.
