God I must be getting to that age where technology leaves me standing. I can work the video, I have a dvd re-writer, a digital camera, use e-mail and the web every day, but do you think I can post bl**dy pictures onto this forum? Not a hope in hell. Is it me?

Yes Brian, I have looked at your tutorial and very welcome it was. Got lost about 1/3rd down when beeb.com didn't want to accomodate me. Or at least appeared to want £14.99 a month.

And I'm only 41...........

Now i'm off to book a Saga holiday and ponder the days when I used to be able to keep up with technology..............

Marc

There is obviously no hope. ;) ;)

Wait till you get to my age then Mate. :D :D

If you have some pictures of your car I may be able to accommodate them on my site mate, PM me.

Hope you're posting pics of your 19inchers!!!!

I thought you could add attachments less than 100K using the 'manage attachments' link on reply.

If you add more than one per reply they will be added as links rather than being displayed in-line, so most people create multiple replies with one pic per reply

They are very smart looking Wheels Mark!

It may as well be my post code given the DVLA policy!

Do I see exhaust tips on there too Marc?

More pics required I think.......

Marc, get yourself an FTP program. The host name you should use is WWW.poundhost.com Used ID is mbclub. Password is mbclub123. Upload your pics to that then by using
whatever you saved the pic as.jpg
I have put a space in the http bit so that the link shows up. You shouldnt leave a space. Hope this helps.

Ian

or even easier than that...

type in FTP://www.poundhost.com

click 'file' on your browser

click 'login as...'

stuff in mbclub and password as above

make the FDTP window smaller (as in half / quater your screen size)

open your directory where your pictures are

drag from your directory to the ftp window the file you want to upload.

I notice though, that I have a file there (as in mbclub/guydewdney) as do kooolvin etc etc etc - but i can add a directory (right click on ftp window, new folder) - but cannot re-name it (i was going to create a folder called marc777 for you..) - nor can I delete it... someone cleverer than I needs to explain that one.

Cutting a long story short from the above, you dont need a ftp prog to just upload pics..
