Just taken delivery of a W211 320 Cdi and am very impressed so far.
I'd like to instal my Cyclops radar detector but am looking to power it via a permanent cable rather than the usual cigarette lighter jobbie.
Any advice as to the best way to get a cable to the top of the dash without drilling holes? I think its best fitted near to the screen and to the right of the instrument panel.
I also need to get a cable thru the bulkhead for my "garage door opener" aka
laser disrupter - again any advice as to the best way to do this? From a brief look this evening I guess I need to remove the air conditioning cover at the rear passengers side of the engine compartment and look for a suitable grommet...
Would much appreciate any words of wisdom from those who've done this before.
Are there any suitable Merc CD's out there which would help me?
