Power steering cuts off and on sometimes when driving away.

Oh dear. The fault has returned. I’m so disappointed. Has anyone found the solution? I’m going to try and charge the two batteries. Because the car has been standing a while. I did get a new battery for the front a while ago so it may be the one in the boot. I’ll update if it works.

Any update on this? I don’t have any additional electronics installed.

I bought my 2013 C180 and found it had all the faults noted above. Obviously didn't happen when I took it for a test drive, happened 2-3 days after I bought it, sods law, thought I'd bought a pup. Anyway, took it to our little independent garage, Wade Bros, who said 'reckon it's both batteries that are cactus'. So, they changed both batteries and all is fine with the world. Even ECO is working fine.

I didn’t see your post before, I believe I have the same issue as you had.. my Eco doesn’t work either.. I was told that my batteries are fine with a simple voltage test which I believe isn’t sufficient to test the battery effectively.. what batteries did you replace them with?

Update. I purchased a new battery in the boot. So now both batteries are new. Problem has definitely gone away this time.
