Greetings!
Wanted to share an image of my W123 under chassis that I had restored a 3 years ago. While it's great to look at, I wonder if it makes sense to undergo that much effort/ expense to protect my W115 saloon?
Or would it make sense to take certain critical components and selectively powdercoat them only to save cost. For example, the lower control arms, where rust can eat away where the spring are supported? Perhaps it makes sense to remove them, coat them and then install new bushings and balljoints?
Any thoughts on coating the springs or any other components that may need it?
Cheers!
