I expect you could get it run, but I can't see what you would gain . Can you imagine how long a pump in the exhaust would last?
 
Hm - no mention of the power loss driving the extractor pump.
 
And why do you need an extractor pump? I've never yet seen exhaust at atmospheric or less.
 
Becuase the whole (unproven) concept works around the idea of sucking out the exhaust gasses.:confused:
 
Some motorbikes eg Yamaha FZR1000, have a variable valve\gate in the exhaust.

The faster the engine revs, the more it opens.

Isn't that the same thing, only simpler?

I'm not sure you need to if you pressure the pot in the first place. Exhaust by definition is under pressure , what are you achieving when the inlet manifold is being held at atmospheric pressure ?
