Pre safe fail on same part of road

This is driving me nuts !
I get the pre safe fail message with the loss of power.
I start the car and its fine, other than the engine light on. ( when i go home the light is not on anymore )

The strange thing is, this happens only in the morning on the same hill at the same spot every time ?

What could this be?
Getting diagnostics done today.

Seriously? Mmm interesting. From tomorrow I will take a different route for a week and see what happens. Thank you

Am sure I saw another thread with a problem with warning lights bring activated in same stretch of road and that was the cause, hopefully I am not leading you on wild goose chase ! No doubt other members will comment

I’m happy and open to ideas. Going to my local mechanic now and will report back with fault codes

Its happened before with high powered radars (anecdotally at least). There has been at least one documented case of a radio controlled burglar alarms battery starting to go flat causing emission in the wrong part of the spectrum, causing car remotes to stop working in one particular street. Unusual now as standards have improved

Interesting.... I thought it was just me, but I get a similar thing happen, on a specific stretch of road, on the way to work in the morning. Always within about 100yds. And only when the temperature drops below about 8 degrees. It doesn't seem to be a function of distance driven (never happens on the way home in the same conditions or if I vary the start of my journey to work). The only thing I ever assumed, it is as I pass underneath HV lines hanging from pylons where they cross the A3. Can't see it being a coincidence...…

If it is on a hill every time then could it be one of the car's angle sensors failing?

I have a 21017 sprinter lwb and this is what happens to me every morning on the way to work.I drive past a massive radar tower and the light will come on without doubt.I’m glad I came across this post it was driving me crazy.

Hi , I have similar issues when I drive past a particular airport in Spain.

Lucky I don't drive past that airport very often.
