Hi All,

I'm going to give the old girl it's yearly detail this weekend (weather pending!) and have purchased some Dodo Juice Lime Prime and Blue Velvet Wax.

I'll be applying the pre-wax cleanser by machine and just wanted to know how long i should work the cleanser for before buffing it off - i.e do i just run the pad across until it becomes hazy?!

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Cheers, Justin.

Via DA, its best used on a Polishing/Finishing pad, 3M ones are my personal favourite. use a line and 2x 5p size blobs of product for the first hit, for the second hit 4x 5p size blobs dotted around the pad. Spread at speed 1, work up to speed 2/3, then finish with passes at speed 4/5 until worked clear. Use medium pressure to ensure the product is worked.

Via Rotary, its best used in a Polishing pad. Again, the 3M ones are my personal favourite. Use similar amounts of product, however spread at 900rpm, work up to 1200rpm, then work at 1200-1800rpm's until clear. You can carry out multiple hits to give an improved result.

Top Man FD, I wasn't sure as to whether it needed to be worked clear, the same as a polish or until hazy (as if you were applying by hand). Your response answers that perfectly, cheers :thumb:
