Good linky here:

& info re dilution rates to get correct ratios.

Use this method for both my cars with good results with a wash mitt & shampoo after the foam/rinse for the "proper" wash. (You can get away with foam/rinse but only if you do so at frequent intervals)

Remember, NEVER try to blast dirt off! Just foam the car up and then use a low impact high volume spay/mist to allow surface grit and grime to be lifted off before washing

I got a Foam Lance from one of the traders on Detailingworld.co.uk

Absolutely fantastic!! Makes car washing almost fun :)

Cars are not designed to have a water jet pointing to the sides of the car, this should always be borne in mind.

They also do little to shift any dirt, as it needs agitating before it comes off, you can try this by just washing the car with these things,if you leave it to dry,it will look the same as before you started.

very good for the wheels and under the car

I have a Gilmour foam gun and use Snow Foam mixed with some detailing fluid, Meguiars shampoo and some water. I don't use a pressure washer though.

So you can only use meguiars shampoos with that bit of kit? Or is it possible to use other types of washing agents too like autoglym for instance?
