Price for AMG 18's?

I have been offered a set of 18'' genuine AMG wheels. They are staggered 8 x 18 and 9 x 18.

This is the style, but not the actual wheels.

My question, is £325.00 a good price? bearing in mind they need refurbishing and new tyres.

Good price, so long as they're structually sound.

I believe that sometimes the rims can develop small cracks - maybe more common on the wider rears from what I remember hearing/reading.

I really want a staggered set up with genuine wheels, it is a bit of hassle but i think the end result should be worth it. Thanks for the replys.

Really? Then they are definetely worth buying, IIRC the replicas used to go on ebay brand new with tyres for £650.

Definitely a good price if they're original with no buckling / cracks.

Kerbing and scrapes are okay, a full refurb will do them justice.

So with tyres and a refurb you are talking about near enough £1000...mabey a bit over.

They do occasionally turn up on Ebay with tyres for lower.

Just be careful about how many times they may have been refurbed before. If they have been done two or three times you may not be able to have the lip diamond cut as it will be too thin. If that is the case you will only be able to have them painted.

Seems reasonable.
I got mine for £300, sold 2 of the tyres for £140, refurbed them and put new tyres on. Think it cost me £720 all in.

Sounds like a good price especially if not any major kerbing, or salt damage.

If they need a refurb allow for £60 - £70 a rim to have a decent job.
