Price match on tyres

Just had the car in to Mercedes Leeds and they noted the fronts were in need of replacement so asked if I'd like two fitting. 'No', says I, 'We have a price match guarantee' says they.

So thanks MB Leeds for 2 Conti Sport 3s at a few coppers cheaper than the best price I found on the web. Fitted, new valves and balanced for what I'd have paid Camskill for just the tyres. :bannana:

If you're in the market for new boots it may be worth checking at your local dealer to see if it's a nationwide offer.

Checked with my local dealer this morning and they're not running this offer, saved £120.00 on four Continentals by going to a local tyre specialist.

My dealer noted that a couple of tyres needing changing, and presented me with the price.

Hmm, I thought, that's not bad. Then he said "each"!
