Jesus. Every room the same colour purple, how outlandish and puke worthy!!! Even has purple flowers in the vase on the garden table and im not too sure about the dining room/bed room combo.

A bedroom diner is certainly new to me.

I thought the shag pile carpet in the kitchen was a unique selling point too.

I thought the green grass was a nice touch.

Ah. At last a thread where we aren't slagging someone off..

Don't get me started......

West London has some of the most ugliest houses.

An example of a typical 3 Bedroom Semi;

1. Paved Drives
2. Every other house has a bigger porch than the next
3. Beverly Hill Pillars
4. Wrought Iron Gates
5. No Shrubs or trees in front Garden
6. Side Extensions
7. Rear Extensions
8. Granny Flats at rear
9. Through Lounge
10. Chimneys Knocked out both levels
12. UPVC leaded windows - fake edwardian and in gold leading
14. Front wooden doors replaced with UPVC and gold fixtures
15. 500W floodlights at eye level
16. Red Carpets
17. Flowery wall paper or Magnolia walls
18. Artex throughout
19. Rear garden red and yellow patio slabs
20. car port style plastic roof on the end of the extension
21. No trees or shrubs in rear garden
22. fences replaced with brick walls 8ft high
23. fitted wardrobes in every single room
24. Loft Extension

I've seen a once semi detached road turn into a terraced street in about 2 years.

oh and they sell for around £550,000 for one of the above examples.

Phew. :D ;)

I have none (I did have to retain leaded Crittall type windows to avoid getting planning permission but they aren't in gold nor are they pvc).

You should see some suburbs of Slough, Koolvin!

Reminds me of a house we viewed before buying our house. It had white/pink wallpaper, white plaster arches/pilasters/ceilingroses. and pink marble floors in every room - every single one. All in a house built in 1987

Houses were selling so fast at that time that we were viewing them before the particulars were available - we might not have viewed that one had we seen the particulars first!!

Ha ha, this reminds me of an old thread I found recently where a guy was showing his E Class to the forum and you commented (unfavourably) about the black wrought iron gates just down the road.

Turned out they were his :D.

Made me laugh that did.

This is in Hayes, down the Uxbridge road. It's not a desirable area to live. And many of the houses are very ugly both internally and externally.

Shouldn't really say this but have any of you seen photos of Talbir's house?

The decor doesn't offend me too much because I am so badly colour-blind. In photo number 6 why is there a dining taboe in the bedroom?

I thought the green grass was a nice touch.

It'll only stay that colour until the weather changes. It'll be a different colour after a few showers of Purple Rain :bannana:

Am I the only one who sees the house and thinks of cadbury?
