Read it in a scientific paper reporting on the "climate change" debate. Trying to put the human factor into perspective. The oceans have always driven climate. there is no correlation between industrial output and CO2 output.

It is a political bandwagon started by a statement by a Scandinavian scientist in the 70's.

Exactly.

Greenland is called Greenland, because it used to be green, thousands of years ago. It's now covered in ice due to climate change (getting colder).

And of course the Romans used to grow vines in the north of England. Fat chance now, it's far too cold.

But these climate change scientists' funding would stop overnight if they admitted there was no climate change.

Climate change? It's just an excuse to tax us more. And what do all these 'greens' taxes get spent on? Certainly not on solving global warming ... because it can't be 'solved'!
