Problem with digital service history

My garage (not Merc main dealer) wants to update the service history online, but gets this message 'entered value date mileage is implausible etc etc.' I have contacted the main dealer to help, they cant/ wont. Mercedes UK promises call back, doesn't. No engagement on X either. Any suggestions how this can be resolved?? (they tell me this has happened several times in the recent past)
Help please!!

Is the mileage being entered less than the mileage at which the last service was performed?
 
That's what happens when you enter a value that is less than the value recorded by the system at some point.
 
We’ve had this before where Km has been confused with Miles and entered incorrectly previously. We got it resolved by going back to the dealer that made the error and if too much time has passed they have to get it corrected by the helpdesk. The helpdesk won’t do it for anyone else. You may find that MoT mileage records help in your argument with the dealer that made the error.
 
Or the vehicle has had a mileage correction carried out…

That’s another possibility
