Hi all, I have a problem with hotmail in that when I send a new email or forward an email, an advert goes with it if I don't delete it first. Is there any way I can remove the ad permanently. I want to stay on hotmail so changing is not on the list.

Hotmail is a free e-mail service. You have signed up to their terms and conditions. The advertising is a way that Microsoft monetizes the service in a move to defray their initial costs and pay for the ongoing space.

Herewith

Note clauses like the last paragraph in clause 6:
The service is a private computer network that Microsoft operates for the benefit of itself and its customers. Microsoft retains the right to block or otherwise prevent delivery of any type of email or other communication to or from the service as part of our efforts to protect the service, protect our customers, or stop you from breaching this contract. The technology or other means we use may hinder or break your use of the service.

Now sorted, the add had been placed as my signature, now deleted.
