Problems with SatNav

Hi everyone,
I am a new menber to this forum and hope you can help? I have a E320CDi on a 54 plate. About a couple of weeks ago I lost all the satellites on the factory fitted APS Comand SatNav. I have been told various things from fitting a new unit to software updates also that the trouble is with aerial. Can anyone help

Very fast & regular train connection from Woking to London (25 mins to Waterloo, non-stop) ...

No I was thinking more of dropping the car off in Woking and continuing to work by train (since I commuted from Woking to London for 20 years!).

I can make the odd Saturday but its a long way to go just for an antenna test. How about I send you a non MB one (I've loads of them lying around) you can try that and if it works then you know it is the antenna and you can then either get yours replaced or keep my non OEM one for free!

Its easy to test, all you do is remove the boot trim on the left and unplug existing antenna from the back of the nav drive (a blue fakra connector) and plug in the new one, leaving the actual antenna resting on the roof of the car. Then sit back and watch for satellites on the comand screen.

PM me your address and I'll send one tomorrow if you like.
