Well I compromised on the search for the all elusive 9/10 penta package but I must say that I'm very pleased with the chosen alternative...10/12 AMG/OZ.

I finished putting the coupe back together this evening and she's quite chiney!

The wheels are awesome, I know penta's are correct but those are gorgeous.

The coupe is running beautifully with it's original 5 liter power plant. Coupled with tri-y's and a GT 3.06 LSD, it's loads of fun as is and perfectly suitable while I finish the 5.4 build.

The interior is a work in progress. Though I re-dyed the Recaros a couple of years ago, I will re-cover them with fresh leather. The headliner and rear seats will get new skins as well.

This front bumper is a Gen I 1982-1985 SEC European spec with the AMG wide body front spoiler added as available throughout the globe during the introduction of the wide body.

AMG later offered three different styles for the Gen II wide body. 1. Japanese AMGs often had a one piece front bumper/spoiler combo. 2. Gen II euro bumpers received an added chin spoiler. 3. The same style as above for US market.

Just a quite little update as all has been pretty quite of late. After having completed the exterior conversion, the interior has been slow going but I did manage to pull the dash before the holidays. Replaced it with a nice and minty example. Haven't touched her since.
