Project Arizona, the rise of the Phonix...a wide body story

quick update:

The AMG modified, port and polished, AMG cam'd, lightened valvetrain, bored and stroked 5.4 liter has finally returned home.

It's now safely tucked aside while I pull the next step into play...

It was an Awesome car so yours must be mega awesome :)

What size tyres are on the rear, love the wheels :)

Took the coupe out for a blast up the California coast, running strong.

I attended the West Coast Summer Concours "Legends of the Autobahn" in Carmel, California.

Lovely car and great pictures.

Thank you gentlemen for the supportive replies!

Two other friends and their coupes joined us on the journey north. These w126 coupes were very well received even amongst the vintage concours crowd typically attracted by these events.

Two wide bodies and a standard body Lorinser, made for a unique 040 trio!
