Hello Guys,

Thanks for watching my thread Project C63 part I.

Here is my next thread about the build of a one of a kind C63 sedan.

Inspired by some tuners over the world, I want to build my own C63.
The C63 by itself is already a great car, but I want it more brutal and aggressive looks, so I hope you are satisfied with my project.

I bought the BS-bodykit and inspired by some other tuners I combine several styles of them in this bodykit, I do not want the bodykit looks to much like the BS, but my own look-a-like.

Bodykit in original size

So maybe some of you will don't like it but hey, where is this forum for:roll eyes:

In the air-intake in the bumper I want these 3 stripes, made of carbon, fitting in the front bumper

Rear bumper

In the rear bumper I like to have that fins, so they made for me the fins in the opening, also in carbon

I bought the BS-kit from Prior Design and guess what: it doesn't fit good:wall:
I asked them twice, does it fit to my car
And the owner gives me 100% guarantee that it will fit perfect.

At the front bumper, it doesn't perfect fit to the front lamps. A few cm too short man. I really get ****** of, but the factory said I don't have to worry….they can make it fit.

At the bottom I will add carbon too in the front lip later

Fenders

At this pic you see the original fender of the BS.
I didn't like that small straight hole, so I want to modify it to another fender with stripes

This will be the modified fender:

Rear bumper

The fenders at the back door I will not modify it.
It seems looking good for me.

In the rear bumper you can see the fins, later that will change into carbon fins

In the rear bumper I cut off the diffusor.
I like to have another diffuser, like the CLS-stealth

2ephhk3.jpg

I want to have this diffusor, so they're making a mal now and will place it into the bumper. I hope they can make the similar diffusor or that will have the same look like the CLS-stealth

If you take a good look, you see a part of my Akrapovic, I have to cut of a little piece at the end of it, otherwise it will not fit

So I bought the original AMG exhaust tips and these will be perfectly fit in the rear bumper:

:D We hanged some pics on the wall of the CLS.

Sorry for the bad drawings, but this supposed how it will be

The hood

2w4ijw6.jpg

We were talking about the modifications in the hood how it will fit.
Because I want the same hood like the CLS, with a big intake in the middle and in the left and right side some fins made of carbon.

For example this middle intake and the fins on the second pic:

I got pics from the factory, to make fit the front bumper perfectly, they have make a mal of my original bumper and cut the upper part so it fits now perfect to the head lights.

One week later,...

Bumper finally fits perfect:)

Here is a small update of my bodykit; the hood

I don't know if you like it or maybe it's too overkill, but that is how exactly I wanted.

In the middle they have make a big intake and as both sides there will be the carbon fins.

Sorry for the bad photos, I can not shot a good pic, but I hope you can see how it will be.

The mods are pure optical, it has further no option…

2 weeks later….

Fortunately, my modified kit is ready and the car will be painted next week.

Here are some pics of the front: the front lip they made in carbon as even the stripes in the intakes too

Side skirts: a part I let them do either in carbon too

This hood is just the prototype.
The finished one is still in the mold.

Finally I got my last carbon parts to make it complete:
- The grill - I think it would be better I took the facelift '12 - I was too late, I ordered this one, but I like this too
- Air vent for behind the seats
- Plate holder

A total pic

I see the wheels are very small now, I need them larger.
So I ordered bigger wheels from the US: 20 inch from Velos Designwerks

So the car is now ready for painting.

a week later:
Oh man, I finally found out the Velos wheels will never fit my car:eek:

The front wheels stick 1,9 cm out but the rear wheels not: the rear wheels hit the body inside and the suspension!

Fortunately, I was at the car show in Essen Germany and I scored some new wheels from Prior Design where I bought my kit too.
These are almost the similar concave wheels but not forged, but for me a temporally good solution because there was no way I could find the right wheels before my car will be paint this Thursday.
So they will be my winter wheels:) and then I have plenty of time to look for other wheels for the summer.

One day later...

Maybe not everyone of you like my taste but maybe you will like it now, because my car is now finally ready.
Most people said that too here in Holland, but when they see my car they love it very much.
Even the MB-dealer gives me a compliment:D

We made a photoshoot and make a videoclip.
I will post that soon.

Here are the updates:

Some Awesome work & effort on this project ... I hate it when they say a body kit fits perfect & then you find the total opposite ,but you managed to work round all the obstacles even the wheels too.

Hats off too you Andrew! Well done pal! :thumb:

Gott Verdamm :D

Nice job Andrew, looks awesome!

I hate to imagine how much that Project cost

Thanks for sharing

Awesome build, very aggressive look, I even like the teddy bear:eek: that does help to soften the look:D

alot of amazing work there well done for all the hard work, alot of nice touch`s, a few not to my taste but overall a nice car

Thanks guys! :thumb:

Wait until you see the pics of the photo shoot :D

@ ChrisA: I think you could buy a second hand Black Series with the total investment + car ;)
But in my case: you have a one-of-a-kind car that nobody have :roll eyes:

Here a spy shot of that shoot:cool:

Now that's a cracking Top end look :thumb:

Nice car, beautiful wife. Congrats Andrew!

Congratulations. An amazing amount of detail went into this project.

As Alps has said not all to my taste, still fantastic work.

Amazing work, not my thing but amazing all the same!! why did you not just buy a black series?

thanks man!

I want to have a one of a kind, Black Series is fantastic, but to build your own C63 that nobody has will more satisfy me if you have the opportunities to create your own dreams!

nice and agressive AMG in the final photo shoot, i like the 2 legged skirt too!

your hood logo, how did you make that angry bird illuminate?
did you take the bird from the albanian flag?

thanks for the compliments guys :thumb:

@ Kowalski: my body shop put behind that logo a LED-lamp inside the hood and connect that with the front lights.
I took the bird from the Indonesian symbol and had my designer a little bit to modify.
I didn't know it was also on the Albanian flag (was it UCK?)

That logo is my company logo too…

Greetingz,...

Albanian Flag Eagle has two heads ;)

The illuminated hood badge is cool! I think MB have an illuminated grill star somewhere in the range.
