Protection for new paint

My car will be getting painted soon, new wing, bumper and door blending in. How soon can I apply a coat or two of wax ?

Whatever you choose to apply... let the fresh lacquer fully harden before applying it.

I’d look at correcting/polishing first before applying wax, yes a respray has been done but it’s surprising what still needs doing after such work
