looking for a good reliable chrome protection strip to cover rear colour coded
bumper (black) on compact sport Vito panel van
to stop scuffs during loading/unloading
any pointers

MB only do a clear stick on plastic AFIK. There are plenty of aftermarket versions around.

I opted to make a waterproof vinyl 'mat' that attaches to the tie down rings which folds out when loading. The benefit of this over a fixed protector is that it also stops getting the front of my trousers dirty when leaning into the boot.

I don't know what this make is like but it caught my eye the other day.

We use the M-B clear film - it's a thick vinyl and pretty tough.
