SL350
I've got a 2003 SL350. It runs beautifully, but periodically I get all my electrics pulsing. The seat belt tensioner clicks, the parking sensors come on, the speaker clicks & all lights pulse. Periodic & random warning lights (coolant, battery, screenwash) come on, then disappear. On checking, no fault! Also if I stop, lock, unlock & restart, all OK for a while. Very weird. Any ideas? Some problem with a regulator or control unit. Both batteries are fairly new.

I would be looking for a corroded earth point first, armed with small to large

wire brushes,as these cars are known for Water ingress through seals.

Pulsing lights is usually a symptom of a faulty voltage regulator.
Could also be a voltage drop in either the supply cable or return (engine to body cable or body to battery cable).

Pulsing electrics

Faulty Voltage Regulator. Spot on. Thanks. Now fixed!
