So I noticed a little "pulse" through the brake pedal when sitting in traffic the other day, roughly every 2-3 seconds.

Then, later, I used the AC with the engine off (REST button) and could distinctly hear a muffled "thump" coming from the front. Started the engine, turned the AC off and sure enough the thump/pulse was gone...

So, expensive? :D

Seems to me it's belt related?

Well the pulsing you feel through the pedal is normal, all 202's do that. Its because the servo and master cylinder are located right next to the duo valve in the engine bay.

When turning the ac or heating on you will feel this pulse as the duo-valve is working.

Next time your out, stuck in traffic and bored, try turning the ac off, then put the heating on and feel the pedal and it will pulse, then turn the heat setting to cold and the pulsing will stop.

Its totally normal. No big bills, nothing expensive! :thumb:

Not noticed it before, but then thinking about it I've never driven it in my 'proper' driving shoes (puma speedcats) before - so mark this down as "problem between steering wheel and seat" :D

Or maybe you hardly ever leave your foot on that brake pedal long enough for you to be able to tell. :D
