Well, after having ordered it from Ebay and it sitting in the study for 2 months, and a few false starts, I have finally fitted my Blaupunkt Active Subwoofer!.

I first located it in the passenger footwell under the over mat, but " er' indoors" did'nt like her feet touching it, so its now sort of wedged under the front seat with a little poking out. The difference is quite noticeable, and worth the £100 it cost. In the end it was a easy to wire up,the hardest bit was working out a rout for the power cable from the battery :o!. I still need to play with the settings on it and the car stereo to get the perfect balance, but its really added that missing something to the cars ICE.

Next on the list, some of those nice Rainbow speakers for the front.

Cheers

Nice - one for my 'will get round to it eventually' list.

Can't remember if you have the leccy seats, but if so I'd be cautious wedging things underneath - we have crushed a few bottles of water and the odd errant apple beneath ours as it moves up and down (for baby seat and Mrs B)..

No electric seats, and if fact the manual movement has stopped working again!, have to have the seat on its hiest setting for the box to fit (just)!.

Cheers!

Which Rainbow's are you looking at?

I have them in both my SL and Civic - the SL is running a set of the 3-part components which are absolutely superb.

Ive seen the KX120 recommended ( Around £60 from Ray Smith) although I know there is a more expensive 12cm that will fit the W124 front, but I dont want to go mad as I want to keep a few quid spare for the mechanical side of things :o .
