Put Deposit on CLS GE but no service book??

I have just put a deposit on a 2010 CLS GE today and have dealt with the MB Dealer over the phone.

I can still back out but am seeing the car Monday on my way up north.

One thing I was unaware of was the digital service book??

I asked if they had a fully stamped book and they said they don't do that anymore "its all digital".

They confirmed the dates, mileage and locations of the 3 services its had but I wont get a book when I collect as they said all dealers can access it.

Is this correct or should I be getting a stamped book?

It seems to be the way now,I am sure you can get a print out though.

It's all digital now - also ask for an Oasis printout which will give you the build date etc and the built spec - very interesting in establishing what you've got.

why?

Its more expensive than I paid and gets no MB Warranty or am I missing something?

That's really lovely, though I'd consider 19" wheels as an upgrade - it's a big car which will sit well on them, and Airmatic will ensure there's little ride difference.

mine is the same colour and also has the AMG body kit which this one doesn't get so I can only see the wheels being different on that car to mine.

I wanted a Merc warranty too so have no regrets.
