query about a budget OBD diagnostic tool for w211 2004

Hi everybody,

I would liek to take a budget OBD tool, which I intend to use only for my car ( w211 e220 cdi 2004) , so i will appreciate if somebody can advise something which works fine and can read majority of modules and sensors, can show live data, fuel injector parameter, etc.
I used in the past Carsoft 7.4 with my w210 , but it was long ago, I gave to a friend after I sold the car as I knew it was not working with the w211 , released after year 2003.

I am assuming that your car is a 2004 220 cdi.
Make sure that it is manufactured in 2004 as prior to this you will have limited function from your icarsoft diagnostic tool on a Diesel Mercedes.
Be careful if you are reading ads from a USA source as they were required to be OBD compliant from 1996 as opposed to 2004 on European Diesels.
On the older OBD ports you may not get fuel injector parameters.
