Question about installing double din kenwood in 2003 ML350

Hi friends,

I'm wanting to install a double din Kenwood in my 2003 Mercedes ML350. I'm confused as to what size mounting cage I need. Does any one have experience with this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Will either of these mounting cages work? which one?

Maybe search the Canadian ebay using your model designator to get a specific kit?

Thank you for your reply! I unfortunately was not able to located the information for the 2003 ML. It only has info for 2005 and up.

You really want to get the head unit first, then use the cage it comes with and see what gap yu have when you are not using the standard surround. Then simply buy a surround off ebay with the right dimensions. The standard one will leave a gap top and bottom.

This is the surround I bought, it is quite chunky...
