Hey guys, I'm about to buy a new pms for my w124 E200, it’s a Siemens 0155457232 and the original is a 0155457032
I know that the 0155457232 is for a C180 but apparently it should work for E-class too, I'm not 100% sure tho.
But my question is, according to this site
"https://carlabimmo.com/ecu/details/163"
My original pms 0155457032 is also for C180 with 122hp! Does it mean I have 122hp since the beginning instead of 136hp?! If yes, should I consider a new pms with others numbers?
I don’t think it work like that but I prefer ask

Thanks

Brightjae Looking at the PMS for your car in 5 mins i found 8 PMS units and the 70 32 is one of them .So i would use your vin number to find the right one . And yes looking in on the link it looks like your car shares the same PMS as C108 . I only said yes it looks like it will inter change but i am no expert .

Ho by the way i dont know why it reads at the top of the page in the parts link it said for use with K Line Transmission . Your W124 wont have the new type transmission .

The correct PMS unit you need for an AUTOMATIC E200 is 015 545 70 32. I believe the info on the site you link to is incorrect. I have never heard of or seen a 202 using 70 32, strictly W124s for that part #.

72 32 is for a W202 C Class.

Yea I think it’s incorrect too, but mine is not an automatic, it’s manual.
So the 72 32 will not work on my W124?

This post on this forum (93 W124 E200 no spark) prove that the 0155457232 unit can work on w124 E200 m111.940 I’m not crazy???

Sorry for the double post but I think I found a pms that should work 100%, it’s the 015 545 69 32 it was made for the w124 E200 16v M111.940! In fact it’s just the older version of the 015 545 70 32 from what I understood, so it should work! Neilrr can you confirm?

015 545 71 32 is the correct number for a manual E200 AFAIK. The others may work, but how well they work I cannot tell you.
