Question on Media System

Got a question hopefully some ideas from you guys, my car is a 2022 cla and has the six speaker stereo, has had a speaker replaced and the dealer says its all now ok, however I'm a bit confused.
If I listen to usb media using good quality mp3 downloads I can turn the volume up to halfway and it's fine but if I try the same with the radio it sounds not so great, bit rough.
Not sure if it's always been that way but noticed it after a dash cam was fitted, I know the aerial is in both windscreens but why the difference, is it just the way it is or what, maybe dab signal and not the dash cam, it would affect both wouldn't it.

Dab radio is 128 bitrate or less in most cases, more like 96 kbps - better off analogue radio or a decent digital radio station from your phone.

Try it against a usb MP3 saved at 96 which will sound rubbish..

It's often worse than 96kbps, it does depend on the station. Some commercial music stations are down to 32kbps and mono only. DAB is dying a slow death due to lack of any investment
