I noticed the braking "feel" between my S204 and the CLK are quite different. Not in a bad way, just different. Do the two cars use different systems? Curiosity!

They both have standard servo assisted brakes opposed to SBC which was fitted to some other models.

The difference you feel may just be due to a different caliper/disc size configuration, different pads, brake fluid age etc... a lot of variables ;)

Agree, braking 'feel' is a very personal thing. What one driver/rider finds perfect will be total pants to another driver/rider. Hence when we have a 'which disc and pads should I buy ?' question on here the answers are all over the place.

As I said on here ages ago, when I fitted Akebono carbon ceramic pads and new OEM Brembo discs to my C55 the car felt very different , better (obviously because of new discs and pads) just 'different'

No pads will make up for lost physics .

No understand!
