Quick coolant question c204

Om646 engine
Just wanted to check - changing the thermostat soon and wanted to flush and refill coolant system
Is it around 6litres of coolant for a full change needed
And from searching on here I believe it's g48 blue coolant conforming to mb 325 spec I need or any recommendations cheaper than genuine MB many thanks in advance

The lifetime of the original MB fill is 15 years so there is no need to change it yet.
If you siphon all the coolant out of the header tank, about 2 litres, into a clean container you will spill very little.

i appreciate the response but I need to just top up the reservoir at this stage as it has just dropped under the minimum mark. I have never had to top it up in 6 years of ownership so just wondering if the Mercedes antifreeze or generic. The internet is full of warnings over mixing antifreeze types and it seems colour is also an unreliable reference these days
