Quick phone question

Hi guys, I have a 56 plate w203 with the mercedes bluetooth built in with the hfp cradle(black one) with my old phone the numbers used to come up on command screen. My work have given me a new nokia 5800 phone which connects to the car but I cant access my phone book, no numbers come up on command. Any ideas guys as to what I can do?

You may have to transfer your contacts to both 'sim' and 'phone' on your new phone for the command to be able to see them, I cannot remember which the command looks at!

5800 is the Symbian based series of phones and they are bad at transferring address books (many don't) because they don't use the normal address book transfer protocol.

Look on nokia website, either updating to the latest software sometimes adds the functionality (it did on E71) or adding a program for the Nokia car kits (look in the car kits section) adds that functionality sometimes.

If not, the ViseeO MB-2 has the smarter chipset in it that can download from the smart Nokia phones (or can receive business cards and thus be sent phonebooks from other awkward phones)
