Quick tyre size question..

Evening all....it's rear tyre time again for my 2012 E63 wagon - I currently have 285/30/19 fitted but wanted to know if 295/30/19 tyres will fit ok.
This will be give me more tyre on the road & a bigger rim protector.
Any issues..??

Not a good idea.

You have 10J rear rims and 285 is already the maximum width tyre you should fit to that size.

You'll be fitting a wider and taller tyre.

A few points to consider (in no particular order):

- Will it foul the inner wheel arch when the car is fully loaded?

- Acceleration will suffer, and your speedometer will under-read, but top speed and fuel economy will improve.

- Is your current rim wide enough to support it?

- Make sure you notify your insurer.

I expect Mercedes considered quite carefully what the correct tyre size should be for an E63 amg. I think I would stick with that.
