Used Ronseal deck oil on the deck last night.

(After a thorough cleaning and dry out)

Thing is I did one coat last night.

Can I apply another tonight or should I have applied the second immediately afterwards??

Thanks in advance!

As long as the first coat is dry, go ahead.

I stain my decking twice a year, the beginning of spring and then the end of autumn, to see it through the winter.

Here's the result and a 'before' step area that needs a bit more cleaning before I oil it.

Very pleased with the result.

Applied with a hand brush not a roller or a pad so I could work it in better.

I bet there's a 'decking detailing' forum somewhere out there ;) :D

Pics of decking with 3M tape masking off the 'before' and 'after' part, etc. ...

:)

Hopefully it will inspire others to clean up theirs!
