but on Thursday me and the family came very close to running into this

Imagine taking your wife and two toddlers down to a secluded part of Derwen****er for a nice stroll. Wander innocently along the shore and then get a copper frantically shout at you from across the water (100 yds away) that we must all leave immediately but in usual copper fashion not tell you why......we scarpered quick assuming there was some unfriendly people running amok in the vicinity....only to discover later that we had come within a few yards of discovering a not so recently deceased fell-walker taking his final swim in the Lake........
On a happier note - got some lovely pics of countryside and touareg to post in due course.
