R129 2001 vanity mirror illumination problem

Passenger illuminated mirror only lights up on one side , other side dark - presumably bulb. Driver mirror both sides light up. Can one change bulb?

More than likely the bulb - the plastic facia pops off so you can remove the old one and take it into a dealer - 5W-12V - 46p each.

Carefully removed black plastic trim including mirror - did eventually pop off after a little fiddling. 2 festoon bulbs 12v 5W - one had blown. Now all lights up
