Hi All
I am back on here after quite some time but took the plunge again and bought an early R129 SL300, The car is known to me and needs a little work, as it has been off the road for the last four years and only covered 10k in the last fifteen. I would really like to get to know the model better and though this would be the best place to start. It currently is sitting on AMG alloys which I think sure is not correct for the year (I might be wrong). I know very little about the R129 but have owned at least six different classic and modern Mercedes over the years. I know there is a lot of expertise/experience on here, so just checking in for more information (Spec etc) on original examples of the marque. I will post some pictures in due course but thought I would start the ball rolling with a short post. Many thanks in advance,
