r129 500sl interior photos and parts

Hi all

Just wondering if any owners of 500sl model (1992 year) can post a pic of their interior where the air-conditioned and stereo is.
I'd like to see what your controls are like for heaters as I've seen digital ones in other cars but mine is the analogue dials.
UK cars too.

Also where can I get instruments cluster (price?) with the odo as mine is European km/h for some reason even though it's UK car.

Early cars had analogue controls, IIRC they switched to the digital setup around 93/94

There were 3 types of HVAC controls on the 129s , 2 of which were early generation pre 96.

Tempmatic (with temp thumbwheels each side)

Auto climate ( push button with small LCD temp readout) this type may have been optional in the early years , but I'm sure someone here can confirm this .

Auto climate (facelift post 96 with widescreen LCD readout )

I know the tempmatic was standard for all models at first and a/c was an option. Then in 1992, the 600SL was introduced which had the early auto climate control as standard. This then became the default a/c option on all other models until it was later standardised.
