This is not catching properly. I think the default position is closed and that the jaws open and catch the bonnet hooks as it falls. Does any kind person know if there is an adjustment mechanism or is it a visit to the Stealers?

You're not having much luck with this query obviously. I am not at all familiar with the model but would find it very hard to believe there was no adjustment available. Normally the adjustment arrangement would be fairly obvious but as I said, I don't know this model.

Hi Ian. A friend tells me; "the normal answer is that when you have pulled the lever, which is only held with one screw and locating peg, the lever must be pushed back, otherwise the bonnet will open when you drive along. It works better when the centre screw is tight on the handle."
